Integrated Business Systems is 10 years old!
I remember with fondness the excitement of founding Integrated Business Systems 10 years ago. Sure, it was a bit scary at times, but the sheer buzz of doing your own thing, and the personal satisfaction of seeing your efforts bear fruit over the years have made the whole experience absolutely fantastic.
With the ongoing convergence of voice & data, the past 10 years has seen much challenge and change. As a support organisation, we have had to constantly learn and develop new technologies, in order to stay at least one step ahead of our customers. Currently we are looking ahead to the VoIP revolution that will happen over the next few years, and evaluating products and strategies to deliver the benefits this will bring to our customers in a cost effective and secure way.
One thing hasn’t changed - and that’s the total commitment our staff show to our customers. We always try to see things from the customers’ perspective, and always try to employ the old adage ’the customer is always right’.
It’s a policy that makes sense, and has helped us to retain each and every customer from one year to the next.
I would like to offer my sincere thanks to all our customers who have helped us get where we are today, and I would also like to congratulate and give thanks to my team for a superb job well done over the past 10 years. I look forward to the next decade.
Pete Tankard, Managing Director

Integrated Business Systems provides United Nations with IP telephony
Integrated Business Systems Limited has completed the installation of a dual IP/TDM Alcatel OmniPCX Office telephone system at the World Conservation Monitoring Centre (WCMC), part of the United Nations Environment Programme.
The ability of the Alcatel OmniPCX Office system to exist as an IP/TDM ‘hybrid’ means that the WCMC can deploy IP telephony in those areas where it will be most beneficial and cost-effective at the same time as allowing the organisation to gradually migrate to a full-IP solution at a pace to suit them.
"It was important to provide WCMC with a solution that offered both ease of use and ease of management," said Pete Tankard, Managing Director, IBSL. "The Alcatel OmniPCX Office telephony solution simplifies tasks that had been notoriously difficult to undertake using the old system, allowing staff to complete their vital work more quickly and effectively than ever before."

Alcatel wins ‘Best Buy’ awards from What to Buy for Business magazine
Alcatel has claimed the ‘Best Buy’ award in the January 2006 edition of What to Buy for Business magazine for both the OmniPCX Office and OmniPCX Enterprise IP telephony systems.
OmniPCX Office scooped the award in the small-medium business category whilst OmniPCX Enterprise triumphed in the medium-large enterprise category. The scalability and flexibility of both systems was a major factor in the decision-making process, especially in terms of migrating to IP telephony. "Alcatel’s telephony solutions were clear winners of the Best Buy categories," said Sara White, editor of What to Buy for Business. "By combining the best of traditional telephony with an IP platform, these future-proof products represent real value for money and will be an asset to any organisation."
